ABOUT US

Our story begins in the Eastern Townships (Quebec, Canada), home to some of the finest maple syrup growing land in Quebec. It was here, in 1956, that the Brien family chose to set up their sugar bush. Driven by a passion for maple and a spirit of innovation, Richard Brien (2nd generation) developed unique processes to achieve unrivalled product quality and stability. Over the years, the sugar shack has metamorphosed into one of the world's leading processors of value-added maple products. Since 2018, Caroline Bordeleau and Philippe Charest-Beaudry have taken over the company.

Our mission is to be the best manufacturer of value-added maple products in terms of quality, market share and productivity. We aim to expand the maple products category through our creativity, entrepreneurial culture and product quality.

To achieve this mission, major investments have been made in recent years to increase production capacity and automate processes. The challenge we face is to standardize and industrialize know-how developed over nearly 70 years of history.
